I took Tri-Met and C-TRAN buses over to Camas, WA to go hiking. LaCamas Creek watershed is a 67 square miles of forest, farm, residential and industrial land.
Here's Lower Falls from below. There are plenty of light trails or game trails that go down to the water.
There were lots of crawdads close to the water. I picked this one up.
Here is Pothole Falls
I did some off trail work to get down to the water at fells and hiked up until I came to the Round Lake dam. The Lacamas Lake dams go back to the 1880's, the dam helps to run the sawmill.
Here is Round Lake, there a trail that goes around Round Lake and goes to the Camas Lily Fields.
To the North of Round Lake is LaCamas Lake, both of the Lakes hold LaCamas Creek. To the west of LaCamas Lake is the Heritage Trial which runs over 3 miles.
Here is a rabbit I saw on the Heritage Trial.
Here is a Tiger Lily.
